The architectural concept behind the Lake House was to design a transparent structure that floats over the lake, thereby establishing a profound connection with the natural surroundings. This symbiotic relationship with nature is further accentuated by the waterside location, the judicious selection of building materials, and the thoughtfully designed interiors.
The house cantilevers over the lake, achieving a floating illusion without relying on columns plunging into the water. The terrace extending over the water not only offers unobstructed views of the lake but also an intimate space, sequestered from the world, evoking a timeless ambience.
